Unique Alphabet or Cosmeply?
Compared feature by feature.
Both keep a PIF per product with its documents, check ingredients against the annexes and alert you when a rule changes. The difference is who writes the report: at Cosmeply an assessor in its network writes and signs it, with CPNP notification and lab tests coordinated for you; in Unique Alphabet the software drafts it from your formula.

What they have in common.
Both keep each product’s documents in one place, with a history of versions, and check ingredients against the annexes of Regulation 1223/2009. Both alert you to the products a rule change affects, and both let you control what an outside collaborator sees.

How we put this together
On 31 Oct 2026 we read each vendor’s public pages listed under Sources and saved a dated copy of each. A cell reports what those pages said on that date. It is not a test of the software, and “not found” does not mean the tool lacks the feature. Ask hello@uniquealphabet.com for copies of the pages we read.
Product names and trade marks of other companies belong to their owners and are used only to identify the products compared. No affiliation or endorsement is implied.

Questions about the two.
Does Cosmeply write the CPSR?
Cosmeply’s pages say the PIF with the CPSR is written and signed by a qualified safety assessor from its network, in 3–5 working days from complete documents. In Unique Alphabet the software drafts the CPSR from the formula; your own assessor reviews and signs it, and without one the signature is a service in Türkiye, quoted per file.
Does Cosmeply cover the UK as well as the EU?
Cosmeply’s pages describe Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009 and CPNP notification; the UK is not named. Unique Alphabet checks formulas and labels against the rules of the EU, the UK and Türkiye.
Can I move my files from Cosmeply?
Cosmeply says the PIF is yours and can be exported at any time. The PIF sections in Unique Alphabet accept PDFs, so the files you already hold can be uploaded as they are; each formula is pasted from a spreadsheet and is not imported automatically.
Can I use both?
Yes. A brand can have a report written and signed through Cosmeply and keep its documents, supplier requests and share links in Unique Alphabet; the PIF sections accept any PDF.
Try it with a formula you already have.
