The deadline is set and counting.
A product you sell is affected and the deadline is set. You get an email as soon as it is matched.
Regulatory Watch reads the annexes of the EU, UK and Türkiye cosmetics rules and the Commission’s drafts. When something changes, it checks the ingredients in your formulas and shows the product affected, the old and new limit, and the deadline.
01/Sources
The EU, the UK and Türkiye change their annexes on different dates. Each finding tells you which market the change is for and when it applies there.
EU
The consolidated Cosmetics Regulation, its annexes and the Commission’s draft amendments.
EUR-Lex ↗UK
The retained Cosmetics Regulation and each instrument that amends its annexes in Great Britain.
legislation.gov.uk ↗Türkiye
The Cosmetic Products Regulation and its annexes as consolidated, and each amendment published in the Official Gazette.
mevzuat.gov.tr ↗02/Matching
Each change is matched to the ingredients in your products by CAS number, EC number and INCI name. A finding names your product, not just the substance.
CAS
Chemical Abstracts number
EC
European Community number
INCI
Name on the ingredient list
Matching uses CosIng, the EU ingredient database kept in the platform. It is the same data your formulas are checked against for the CPSR draft.
03/The finding

04/Grades
A product you sell is affected and the deadline is set. You get an email as soon as it is matched.
A product is affected, but the deadline is not running yet, or the change needs a judgement first.
A draft, or a change that needs no action. It is kept on record so nothing takes you by surprise.
Urgent findings are emailed. Every finding stays in Notifications until you mark it reviewed or closed, one by one or all at once. Each step is recorded in the Audit Log.
05/After the finding
Open the product and correct the formula. At the next scan, Regulatory Watch sees the change and closes the finding itself, marked “Formula fixed” with the date.
If the amount goes back over the limit, the finding reopens; a finding you closed by hand stays closed. You make the correction inside the product, and the Audit Log keeps the before and after. If a product will never be sold in that market, mark the finding “Out of scope”.
