INCI check · CosIng
Is anything in your formula banned? Or restricted?
Paste the INCI list from your label. Each ingredient is checked against the EU and Türkiye annexes: prohibited, restricted, at what limit, and which regulation set the rule.

Where the data comes from.
What it does not say.
EU | European Commission, CosIng: the export of Annexes II to VI of Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009. |

Legal status | The Commission publishes CosIng for information; it is not legally binding. The legal text is the Regulation and its amendments in the Official Journal of the EU. |
Türkiye | The annexes of the Cosmetic Products Regulation, from the Unique Alphabet® platform: the same data its formula check uses. They follow the EU’s with a delay; where an EU entry is not yet in them, the Türkiye column says so. |
Great Britain | Great Britain keeps its own annexes; they are not in this search. |
Questions about the check.
Does “no entry in the annexes” mean an ingredient is allowed?
No. It means Annexes II to VI hold no prohibition or limit for it. The product still has to be safe under Article 3 of the Regulation, and the safety assessor decides that.
Does it show Türkiye?
The Türkiye column shows the entry in the annexes of Türkiye’s Cosmetic Products Regulation. They follow the EU’s with a delay, so an ingredient can be restricted in the EU and not yet in Türkiye; the column then says so. Regulatory Watch reads EU, UK and Türkiye sources and names the products a change touches.
How current is the data?
It is the Commission’s annex file dated 13 Oct 2026. A regulation adopted after that date appears in our change log first.
Does it check concentrations?
No. It shows each ingredient’s entry and its limits, but it does not know how much of it your formula contains. INCI Breakdown and Formula Check in Unique Alphabet® apply each ingredient’s concentration and the product type, and list the warnings the label needs.
