Commission Regulation (EU) 2025/877 (Omnibus VII)

Twenty-one substances newly classified as CMR under the CLP Regulation are prohibited, among them TPO, the photoinitiator that hardens gel nail polish, and N,N-dimethyl-p-toluidine, used in acrylic nail systems. TPO’s restricted entry, which allowed up to 5% in professional nail systems, is deleted. There is no period to sell off stock, and a salon may not use these products on clients from 1 September 2025.
